Tired of pushing those tiny little buttons on your phone? Do you see a phone number on a web page and long to be able to click it and make the call? Well now you can! With Fire Dialer, Digium’s handy Firefox extension, you’ll never have to dial your phone again! (Well maybe occasionally.)

Fire Dialer Works with your Firefox web browser and Switchvox PBX to let you click phone numbers on any web page; Switchvox rings your extension, then when you pick up, it rings the other phone number. No more sore dialing fingers!

Using Switchvox Extend

Fire Dialer uses the API to

• Connect to your Switchvox PBX
• Authenticate you and your extension
• Initiate a call that rings your extension then another number

This is a handy feature for every-day use of the Internet, but it’s especially useful for a customer-service or sales person, who makes countless calls throughout the day. The time spent dialing (and mis-dialing!) can add up. Fire Dialer makes you that much more efficient.
